This outlook seems to resemble what author Daniel Pink described as a new paradigm for our Western culture to grapple with. In that the right brainers among us who draw inspiration from a collective consciousness or'genius' stand to benefit individually and communally as the bamboo (a sign of longevity) is revealed to be the rock-metaphorically speaking. Our lives really do have meaning. Ah, well said.
